Cuban Link and Triple Seis left the group after Big Pun's death but Fat Joe, Remy, Tony Sunshine, Prospect and Armageddeon remained and released their second album True Story in 2004 with the summer hit "Lean Back" produced by Dr. The song peaked at #75 on the Hot 100. Tragedy struck the crew when Big Pun died of a heart attack in 2000. The song enjoyed heavy airplay throughout the rest of the millennium, not only in clubs, but on rhythmic and mainstream radio stations across the country. Fat Joe and Big Pun were the members in the crew who had the most successful solo spots, Remy Martin was the only female rapper in the group, and Tony Sunshine was famous for singing on all the Terror Squad songs. It here that "Free", her biggest mainstream hit in America, was released in 1997.

They released their self titled debut album in Terror Squad The Album in 1999 with their hit "What Cha Gon Do" which was mostly done by Big Pun. However, when Warner Brothers tried to push her in a more R&B, less house, direction, Ultra Nate left the major label and fled to the independent dance label, Strictly Rhythm. The members were Fat Joe, the late and great Big Pun, Cuban Link, Prospect, Armageddeon, Triple Seis, Tony Sunshine and Remy Martin. She found some American club success and European success there with a string of singles. The Terror Squad is a Latino Rap crew from The Bronx, New York that is also known as Big Pun and Fat Joe's crew. She began her recording career on a major label, Warner Brothers. True Story, 2004. Ultra Nate is noted for taking the opposite path than what most musicians take.

She is also remembered in America for her team-up with Amber and Jocelyn Enriquez on a 1999 cover of "If You Could Read My Mind", which was also a mainstream American hit. Ultra Nate (originally from Baltimore) is a popular American house musician who is best known in her home country for her monsterous 1990s dance crossover smash, "Free", which features the memorable chorus "'cause you're free/ to do what you want to do/ you've got to live your life/ and do what you want to do".
