Following that, she has found consistent work with roles in limited-release and TV movies, and had some success with a return to series television in Showtime's Rude Awakening (1998-2001). As of 2004 she lives with her husband Alan Kovacs in Vancouver, British Columbia. Unfortunately, her next movie was the infamously bad Boxing Helena, directed by Lynch's daughter Jennifer, in which Fenn played a role turned down by Kim Basinger. She became famous from her portrayal of Major Samantha Carter in the science fiction television program Stargate SG-1, which debuted in 1997. Lynch also gave her a memorable cameo as a woman involved in a car accident in Wild at Heart, and she appeared in Gary Sinise's film adaptation of Of Mice and Men (1992). She appeared in a couple of commercials, and played a variety of roles in television and film productions, such as The Outer Limits and The X-files. Noteriety came when she was cast by David Lynch as the sultry Audrey Horne in Twin Peaks. After graduation she continued to study theatrical arts, while performing in several stage productions.
