Robin Luke

Robin Luke (born March 20, 1942) was an American rockabilly singer.

Born in Los Angeles, California, Robin Luke was living in Punahou, Hawaii in 1958 when he wrote and recorded a Billboard No. 5 hit with the song Susie Darlin'. He contined to record but was unable to repeat this success.

A tribute to Lynne called Lynne Me Your Ears, was released in 2002, and featured two CDs full of artists performing Lynne/ELO songs, including Todd Rundgren, SWAG (featuring members of Wilco, The Mavericks and Cheap Trick), Sixpence None The Richer, Doug Powell, PFR, Fleming and John, The Balls of France (Jerry Chamberlain of Daniel Amos), Rick Altizer and others. He contined to record but was unable to repeat this success. A tour and DVD followed. 5 hit with the song Susie Darlin'. Lynne teamed up with ELO keyboardist Richard Tandy to reform ELO in 2001 for an album called Zoom. Jeff Lynne (born December 30, 1947) is a British singer-songwriter and was the founder of the Electric Light Orchestra in the 1970s as well as a co-founder, and a member, of the Traveling Wilburys in the 1980s.
