Paul Gross

Paul Gross (born April 30th, 1959) is a Canadian actor, producer, director, singer, and writer born in Calgary, Alberta. He is internationally best known for his lead role as Constable Benton Fraser in the television series Due South as well as the later spin-off, also entitled Due South.

He has also played the lead in Hamlet at the Stratford Festival of Canada, and in the Canadian curling movie Men with Brooms.

In his late middle age, Nance grew a small white moustache and was a distinctive presence in many films with his peculiar twisted smile and bug eyes.

Coulson (the future Log Lady in Twin Peaks), but they divorced in 1976. At the time, Nance was married to the actress Catherine E. Nance's performance as the neurotic, big-haired Henry Spencer is an iconic one in cult film. In the 1970s, Nance met David Lynch, who cast him as the lead in his bizarre independent film Eraserhead.
