Mobb Deep

Mobb Deep, also known as The Infamous Mobb Deep is a hip hop crew from Queensbridge, New York. The group was founded in 1992 by MC/producer Havoc (b. May 21, 1974) and MC Prodigy (b. November 2, 1974). Mobb Deep released a number of albums from the early 1990s onwards. Producers for the group have included Q-Tip from A Tribe Called Quest for their 1993 debut, and Havoc from then on; in the early 2000s, Havoc began sharing production duties with The Alchemist. The group has frequently been supported by and performed in support of other Queensbridge MCs, such as Nas and Big Noyd.
