Max Bygraves

Max Bygraves (born 16 October 1922 in Rotherhithe as Walter William Bygraves) is a singer songwriter. He also appeared on his own television shows, sometimes performing comedy sketches between songs. Shows he presented included Family Fortunes.

Max Bygraves (born 16 October 1922 in Rotherhithe as Walter William Bygraves) is a singer songwriter. In the last years of his life he taught drama at the Actors Centre and the Academy of Live and Performing Arts, and also worked in association with RADA, generally in the role of promoting the organisation, or providing advice to acting students.
