Her stint on the latter program ended abruptly in the middle of the first season, for reasons never completely revealed to the public, although possibly related to her arrest for drunken driving. Eldridge died from a heart attack in Long Beach, California. Delaney has since appeared in a number of series, most notably L.A. She was married to the actor Fredric March, with whom she often appeared both in films and in stageplays, from 1927 until his death in 1975. Greg Nelson was played by Laurence Lau. Among her films were The Divorcee (1930), Thirteen Women (1932), Les Misérables (1935), Mary of Scotland (1936) and Inherit the Wind (1960). She was a member of the fan-popular couple Jenny and Greg (Nelson). Born Florence McKechnie in Brooklyn, New York, Eldrige was a supporting actress in films who also achieved a long career as a theater actress.
