Kim Cattrall

In addition to her career as an actress she is also a writer, having co-written with her third husband Mark Levinson the book Satisfaction: The Art of the Female Orgasm. Cattrall was previously wed to Larry Davis and Andre Lusonin. Before that, the last movie she had appeared in had been in the 1960s. This character and several others she has portrayed are known for being sexually-open women. The last movie she appeared in was the 1991 film Night of the Warrior, starring her son, Lorenzo Lamas. Cattrall is better known for her work as "Samantha Jones" in Sex and the City. She has two other children from other marriages. Subsequently she starred in the first Police Academy film in 1984, and in the first Mannequin in 1987. Arlene Dahl and Fernando Lamas got divorced in 1960, and Dahl later remarried.

Cattrall starred in a handful of films during the 1970s, but her first taste of international fame came in 1981 when she participated in the first Porky's film. She also founded her own business, Arlene Dahl Enterprises, which marketed lingerie and cosmetics. In 1981, at age 25, she briefly dated the recently-divorced Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. Dahl would go on to work as a beauty columnist and as a writer. When she was 16, she moved to New York where she studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Art. Shortly after giving birth to her son, Dahl slowed and eventually ended her career as an actress, although she still appeared in movies and on television occassionally. At the age of 3 months, Cattrall and her family moved across the Atlantic Ocean to Canada, eventually settling for a time in Nanaimo, BC. In 1958 Dahl and Lamas had their only son, Lorenzo Lamas (who also grew up to become an actor).
