June Lockhart

One, Junie Lockhart, also billed as Lizbeth Lockhart, had only a brief acting career, and the other, Anne Lockhart appeared in several television programs, most prominently Battlestar Galactica. After appearing for many years on The Dick Van Dyke Show, Rose Marie had a semi-regular seat on the 1970s version of Hollywood Squares. June Lockhart married John Lindsay in 1959, and they had two daughters. At five she became a radio star on NBC, made a series of films and, as a teenager, became a nightclub peformer before becoming a comedienne. June Lockhart won a 1948 Tony Award for outstanding performance by a newcomer for her role in For Love or Money. Born Rose Marie Mazetta in New York City she became a performer at the age of three.

She was the daughter (and only child) of two actors: Gene Lockhart, who came to fame on Broadway in 1933 in Ah, Wilderness!, and his wife Kathleen, née Arthur, who appeared with her husband in many of his stage plays and several movies, including A Christmas Carol, in which June Lockhart, as a young child, also appeared. Rose Marie (born August 15, 1923) is an actress who had a career as a child star under the name Baby Rose Marie but is best known for her adult role as Sally Rogers in the The Dick Van Dyke Show.
