John GavinBorn April 8, 1928, as John Anthony Golenor, John Gavin is an American movie actor and former US Ambassador to Mexico. His most famous movie roles were in Psycho in 1960 and Spartacus in 1961. He was signed on for the role of James Bond after George Lazenby left the role, but he never played Bond in a movie.
