Following her early career as a glamorous leading lady, she returned to television in the ITV sitcom, The Upper Hand, during the 1990s. A song she recorded with Patrick MacNee in the 1960s, Kinky Boots, was a surprise hit in 1990 after it was played incessantly by Radio 1 breakfast show presenter Simon Mayo.
