Brief Filmography:. She has been working with Radio Disney, performing her songs all over Southern California, and went to Hawaii with Disney's Imagineers. Matarazzo recently came out of the closet as a lesbian in the New York Times; she unassumingly referenced her "girlfriend" and then clarified the meaning. Lalaine wrote six songs on the album herself, including "Life is good","Can't Stop", and "Save Myself". Her breakthrough role was as a geeky girl in the movie Welcome to the Dollhouse. On July 8, 2003, Lalaine released her new independent album,"Lalaine: Inside Story".
