Hayley Mills

Hayley Catherine Rose Vivian Mills (born April 18, 1946) is a British actress.

She is the daughter of actor Sir John Mills, and playwright Mary Hayley Bell. She is the sister of actress Juliet Mills, who has a character in the soap opera Passions, and director Jonathan Mills.

Mills was 13 when she was discovered by J. Lee Thompson, who was looking for a boy to play the lead role in Tiger Bay. She went on to take the lead in several other films, notably Whistle Down the Wind (1961).

Hayley starred in the Disney Classic, Pollyanna, a story about a young girl who moves in with her Aunt. Her Aunt and all the townspeople's lives were changed including the Pastor of the church played by Karl Malden.

Walt Disney's wife loved her acting, and so she was contacted to participate in the Disney film The Parent Trap. She played a pair of twins who reunite their parents after a long time, and her acting earned her a special Oscar. Other Disney films in which she appeared included In Search of the Castaways, Summer Magic and That Darn Cat!.

She also acted in the film Kes, directed by Ken Loach (1969).

In 1971, she married Roy Boulting, who was many years older than her. They had a child, named Crispian Mills, and divorced in 1977. Crispian later became a singer with the band Kula Shaker and is now front man for The Jeevas. Her second son, Jason Lawson, is the product of a 70's relationship with actor Leigh Lawson.

Mills has starred in many shows and plays since, more notably as a teacher in Saved By The Bell, and as Miss Anna Leonowens in the British production of The King and I.

She made her off-Broadway debut in Noel Coward's Suite in Two Keys in 2000.

Belushi claims that Newmar has been harassing him and actively trying to force him to move through such acts as destroying his property, blaring loud music directed at his home and bad-mouthing him to neighbours.
