Gorden Kaye

Although he cannot remember any details of the incident, he still has a dent in his forehead from a piece of wood that smashed through the car window. Siddig is the nephew of English actor Malcolm McDowell and of former Sudanese Prime Minister Sadiq al-Mahdi. Gorden suffered serious head injuries in a car accident in 1990 (see also Burns' Day storm). They had a son in born 1996, Django El Tahir El Siddig. Siddig and Visitor divorced in 2001. The unusual spelling of the name Gorden is due to an Equity typing error. Siddig married fellow Star Trek actor Nana Visitor in 1997. He has worked on television, radio, film and on the stage. He is half Arab and half British.
