Glenn Ford

As of 2004, Ford was living in quiet retirement in Beverly Hills with his son's family. Despite his lack of high profile roles since 1990's Three Men and a Little Lady, his name remains well known in popular culture. In 1992 he was awarded the Legion d'Honneur medal for his action in the Second World War. In the 1990s he worked on a number of children's films and low budget movies. In 1962, Glenn Ford won a Golden Globe Award as best actor for his part in Frank Capra's Pocketful of Miracles, and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Guttenberg was a popular movie star throughout much of the 1980s, and is best known for starring roles in Police Academy, Three Men and a Baby, Cocoon and Short Circuit. With Eleanor Powell he is the father of actor Peter Ford. He is sometimes credited as Steven Guttenberg.
