Gabrielle Anwar

Gabrielle Anwar (born 4 February 1970 in Laleham, Middlesex, England) is an English actress, the daughter of an Iranian film director father and an English actress. An example of her work in England is The Three Musketeers (1993).

While working on movies and television in London, she met American actor Craig Sheffer, and moved with him to Hollywood.

Her first American film was If Looks Could Kill. She followed that with Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken, Scent of a Woman, For Love or Money and Body Snatchers.

In 1993, People magazine named her one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world.

In 1993, People magazine named her one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world. In June 2003, she became engaged to the director of Underworld, Len Wiseman, and the two were wed in May 2004 in Bel-Air, California. She followed that with Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken, Scent of a Woman, For Love or Money and Body Snatchers. Beckinsale and actor Michael Sheen have a daughter, Lily, but they are no longer together. Her first American film was If Looks Could Kill. Since then she has played in several major movies, but has also appeared in television films and on the stage.
