Her most recent work has been in the television series Ally McBeal (1997-2000) and Three Sisters (2001). Viola Dana has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contribution to Motion Pictures, at 6541 Hollywood Boulevard. They had one child, a daughter, Jennifer. She died later the same year from heart failure in Woodland Hills, California. In 1962 she married Cary Grant, becoming his fourth wife, and divorced in 1968. In 1987 she was interviewed for the documentary Bustor Keaton: A Hard Act to Follow. She has received two Oscar nominations for Best Supporting Actress, one for Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (1969) and one for Heaven Can Wait (1978). More than fifty years after her retirement from the screen, she appeared in the documentary, Hollywood (1980) discussing her career as a silent era film star, and of the Hollywood of the 1920s.

Samile Diane Friesen (born January 4, 1937), better known as Dyan Cannon, is an American film and television actress. Born Virginia Flugrath in Brooklyn, New York, Dana entered films in 1910 and by the time she made her final film appearance in 1929, she had appeared in almost 100 films.
