Delta Burke

Delta is married to actor Gerald McRaney. Collette, who shares her birthdate with Jenny McCarthy, married Dave Galafassi on January 11, 2003. She is a designer and manager of the clothing company Delta Burke Design in New York City. She is probably best known for her Academy Award nominated role as the mother of troubled boy Cole in the film The Sixth Sense. She represented Florida and was paired with Georgia, Gail Nelson, in the Miss America Pagent in 1974, and won a talent scholarship allowing her to attend a two-year study program at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. She has won three Australian Film Institute awards, including Best Actress in a Lead Role for Muriel's Wedding, in 1994, a role for which she gained 40 lb (18 kg) in seven weeks. She is probably best known for her roll as Suzanne Sugarbaker in the sitcom Designing Women. She has been married to Dave Galafassi since January 11th, 2003.
