David Harold Meyer (March 27, 1930 - February 13, 1980), better known as David Janssen, was an American film and television actor who is best-known for his role as Dr. Richard Kimble in the television series The Fugitive (ABC,1963-1967). Also appeared in Richard Diamond, O'Hara, and Harry-O TV series and in a number of films including John Wayne's The Green Berets. As a heavy alcoholic, he died of a heart attack at the age of only 49 in Malibu, California. He was interred in the Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery in Culver City, California.

He was interred in the Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery in Culver City, California. Robert Loggia has often been called the ultimate character actor. As a heavy alcoholic, he died of a heart attack at the age of only 49 in Malibu, California. During this time, a nationwide poll named him as the United States' favorite actor. Also appeared in Richard Diamond, O'Hara, and Harry-O TV series and in a number of films including John Wayne's The Green Berets. He has kept active in recent years and won an Emmy nomination in 1989 playing a righteous FBI agent in the TV series Mancuso FBI. Richard Kimble in the television series The Fugitive (ABC,1963-1967). In 1985, Loggia was nominated for an Academy Award for best supporting actor for his portrayal of a crusty private detective in the thriller Jagged Edge.

His many films include An Officer and a Gentleman, Scarface and Prizzi's Honor. He also starred as a secret agent in a short-lived series called The CAT. He first came to prominence as a Mexican bandit named Elfio Baga in a series of Walt Disney television shows.

After studying journalism and serving in the United States Army, Loggia began a long career as a supporting player in movies, on stage and on television. Loggia was born in New York City. Robert Loggia (born January 3, 1930) is an American character actor.
