Alexis Denisof

Alexis Denisof (born February 25, 1966) is an American actor best known for playing Wesley Wyndam-Pryce in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off Angel.

Wesley's character was first introduced in Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 3 as Buffy Summers' replacement Watcher. After Buffy parted ways with the Watchers' Council, Wesley was out of a job. He later showed up on Angel, and became a regular character in that series from episode 11.

Although he is an American, born in Salisbury, Maryland, Alexis Denisof has lived most of his life in Britain. He has done many stage productions, including one with Anthony Stewart Head, who played Wesley's predecessor Rupert Giles on Buffy.

Alexis married Alyson Hannigan, who played Willow Rosenberg in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, on October 11, 2003.

He lives in Los Angeles, but also has a home in London.

He lives in Los Angeles, but also has a home in London. Richard Farnsworth has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 1560 Vine Street. Alexis married Alyson Hannigan, who played Willow Rosenberg in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, on October 11, 2003. He is interred with his wife in the Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. He has done many stage productions, including one with Anthony Stewart Head, who played Wesley's predecessor Rupert Giles on Buffy. Having been diagnosed with terminal cancer, Farnsworth committed suicide by shooting himself at his ranch in Lincoln, New Mexico. Although he is an American, born in Salisbury, Maryland, Alexis Denisof has lived most of his life in Britain. In 1979 Farnsworth was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Comes a Horseman and in 2000 he was nominated for Best Actor for The Straight Story.

He later showed up on Angel, and became a regular character in that series from episode 11. Farnsworth's career was largely in Western films, although he did appear in the television miniseries Roots and in 1985 he appeared in the Canadian miniseries Anne of Green Gables. After Buffy parted ways with the Watchers' Council, Wesley was out of a job. He received his first credit, as "Dick Farnsworth", in Texas Across the River in 1966.
