The band .38 Special is a Rock and Roll group that was formed in 1975 in Jacksonville, Florida and their musical career began in 1976. They released some concept albums. They are currently working on a new album; the name has yet to be released. Drivetrain (2004). Joe Hill was named the new guitarist in 2005. A Wild-Eyed Christmas Night (2001). In 2004, guitarist Terry Corso split with the band citing "irreconcilible differences". 20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best of .38 Special (2000). "Glow" has been a mainstream radio success, while also achieving long lasting top 20 success in New Zealand.

Live at Sturgis (1999). Finally in winter 2002, Alien Ant Farm returned to the studio to work on their next album called truANT, which was released in 2003 produced by Stone Temple Pilots' Robert and Dean DeLeo. Resolution (1997). The driver died and the band members had several injuries, including a broken neck for lead singer Dryden Mitchell. Bone Against Steel (1991). The band was involved in a bus accident while touring in Spain. Rock & Roll Strategy (1988). Their following single "Movies" was a Top 5 hit in the UK and a Top 20 hit in New Zealand.

Flashback: The Best of .38 Special (1987). Their cover of the Michael Jackson song, "Smooth Criminal", was a #1 single in Australia and New Zealand and a #3 single in the UK. Strength in Numbers (1986). In 2000, Alien Ant Farm signed with DreamWorks SKG for their debut album ANThology and then the band began touring in 2001. Tour de Force (1983). Alien Ant Farm was formed in the USA in 1996 as a grunge and alternative metal group. Special Forces (1982). "Glow", 2004 single.
