The band .38 Special is a Rock and Roll group that was formed in 1975 in Jacksonville, Florida and their musical career began in 1976. They released some concept albums. They will release a third studio album in early 2005, called Hearts On Parade. Drivetrain (2004). Their second studio album, The Art Of Losing was then released in 2003, but this spawned only a minor single, the self-titled "The Art Of Losing". A Wild-Eyed Christmas Night (2001). They then released a live album in 2002, titled Rock N Roll Noodle Shop/Live In Tokyo Japan. 20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best of .38 Special (2000). It spawned the radio hit "Flavor Of The Weak", which reached the top 50 in both the US and the UK. Live at Sturgis (1999). Their debut album, released in 2001, was the self-titled American Hi-Fi.
