In 2004, Spelling married actor Charlie Shanian. In the most recent installment, Seed of Chucky, she plays a dual role, not only providing a voice for one of the killer dolls, but also playing a parody of herself. After the series went off the air, Spelling worked mostly in various independent films (often receiving praise for her performances) including Trick and The House of Yes. Tilly gained some additional popularity in recent years for providing voice-over work for the Child's Play series of movies. She claimed to have undergone an audition for the role under an assumed name. Jennifer married Simpsons producer Sam Simon in 1984 but they divorced in 1991. With what was often described as a highly limited acting range, it was widely speculated that she got the job through her father's influence. Her breakthrough film role was in The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989) and she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Bullets Over Broadway (1994).

The daughter of Aaron Spelling, a hugely successful television producer mainly for the ABC network, she appeared in a number of small roles before landing a regular part in 90210, a series co-produced by her father and Darren Star. She began her acting career as a teenager, putting herself through the theater program at Stephens College in Missouri. Victoria Davey Spelling (born May 16, 1973) is an actress best known for her role as Donna Martin in the 1990s teen soap opera Beverly Hills 90210. She attended Belmont High School along with her two sisters, one of whom, Meg Tilly, is also an actress. Tilly was born Jennifer E Chan and was raised in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Jennifer Tilly (born September 16, 1958 in Harbor City, California) is an American actress who has starred in many major films as well as independent features.
