Tisha Campbell-Martin

She had a small, but notable film role as Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors as part of the Greek chorus. Mullally came out as bisexual in a 1999 interview in The Advocate magazine. A graduate of the Newark Arts High School in Newark, New Jersey, she is married to former New York Knicks player, and fellow actor Duane Martin. Her success has led her into feature films. Tisha Campbell-Martin (born October 13, 1968 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA) has starred in television shows such as Martin (as Gina Waters) and My Wife and Kids (as Janet Kyle). She has also won four Screen Actors Guild Awards for her role. She won the Emmy Award in 2000.

Her characterisation brought her acclaim and four Emmy Award nominations. Cast in the NBC comedy television series Will & Grace, Mullally played the shrill voiced, pill popping, booze guzzling Karen Walker. Small parts in such films as Risky Business (1983), and About Last Night (1986) followed but it was not until 1998 that she secured her first real success as an actress. She moved back to Los Angeles but was unable to find success.

Growing up in Oklahoma, her popularity in college stage productions led to Mullally determining her future, and she dropped out of college to pursue her acting goal.
