Despite having spawned the Grammy nominated single 'It Won't Be Long', "Hoodoo" marked the beginning of what was to become a long fight for Moyet to secure complete control of her artistic direction. Following a period of personal and career evaluation "Hoodoo" was released in 1991. "Raindancing" spawned further hit singles, including: 'Ordinary Girl' and a cover of Floy Joy's 'Weak In The Presence of Beauty'.
