Stephen Collins

Stephen Collins (born October 1, 1947) is an American actor. He is probably best known for his role as Reverend Eric Camden on the television series 7th Heaven.

He is also the author of two novels: Eye Contact (1994) and Double Exposure (1998).

Though he plays a pastor on the television series 7th Heaven, he is actually Jewish.

Though he plays a pastor on the television series 7th Heaven, he is actually Jewish. Linden is currently the national spokesperson for the Jewish National Fund. He is also the author of two novels: Eye Contact (1994) and Double Exposure (1998). Linden chose his stage name after spotting a gas storage tank with the word "Linden" (as in Linden, New Jersey) written on it in huge letters - "large enough for a big star".
