Shannen Doherty

Shannen posed for a nine page pictorial in the December 2003 issue of Playboy magazine. She is a spokeswoman of the American Diabetes Association, travelling around the United States to raise awareness about the disease. Her private life has also been turbulent, with a six month marriage to Ashley Hamilton, son of George Hamilton. Della Reese announced, at the Larry King show in 2002, that she suffers from Type-2 Diabetes. She is now a regular on the series North Shore, a return to her prime-time soap roots. She has had a number of other acting jobs since that series began. She hosted Scare Tactics on the Sci Fi channel until the 2004 season. Her participation in this series has given her popularity among the younger audiences as well.

She left that series in 2001, after three years, claiming that her best work was being wasted on a show "for 12-year olds" (though rumors persist that her departure was against her will, due to a feud with costar Alyssa Milano). In 1994, she began participating in the television hit Touched by an Angel, where she plays Tess. Although her departure from the series was reportedly acrimonious, it didn't stop Spelling from casting her in another series, Charmed. In 1989, she starred alongside Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall and Robin Givens in the Harlem Nights movie, playing Vera. She starred on the Aaron Spelling-produced Beverly Hills 90210 for four years, from 1990 to 1994. Reese did voice overs from 1988 to 1991 in the A Pup Named Scooby Doo television cartoon. She was then cast as the oldest Witherspoon sibling, Kris, on the family drama Our House, which ran from 1986 to 1988. In 1979, she played Ms. Lydia Branch in the critically acclaimed series Roots: The Next Generations.

She first came to notice when she was cast as Jenny Wilder in Little House on the Prairie, which she followed up with roles in films such as Heathers. where she played Della Rogers from 1976 to 1978. Shannen Maria Doherty (born Easter Monday, April 12, 1971) is an American television actress, best known for her work as Brenda Walsh in Beverly Hills 90210. Four more acting jobs preceded her participation in Chico and the Man. In 1973, she had her first acting experience, in The Voyage of the Yes, as Opal. In 1969, she was given her first shot at television stardom, when she starred on the Della show, hosting the program.

In 1987, she was nominated for an Emmy as a gospel singer. In 1983, she married Thomas Lett Jr., to whom she is still married. She later forned a band named Meditation Singers. She would later join famous gospel singer Mahalia Jackson.

Reese, a Christian, began singing at the age of six. Della Reese (born Delloreese Patricia Early on July 6, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan), is a famous African American actress.
