Richard Crenna

Crenna's son Richard Anthony Crenna is also an actor. All but a few of those roles listed above fit that description. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6714 Hollywood Blvd. Dourif was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Billy Bibbit in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975). It was this performance that established Dourif's reputation as a character actor who plays deranged or unbalanced roles. Suffering from pancreatic cancer, Crenna died of heart failure in Los Angeles, California at the age of 75. He also appeared as the villain Saavedro in Myst III: Exile (2001), the third game in the popular Myst franchise. Crenna had a long career in films, appearing in such movies as The Sand Pebbles, Wait Until Dark, Body Heat, First Blood (and its following Rambo sequels), Hot Shots! Part Deux and The Flamingo Kid. He previously was part of the Star Trek world as "Rex" in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, in 1989.

He remained with the cast of the latter show when it transitioned to television. When Our Miss Brooks was canceled, he moved to another television program, The Real McCoys. Star Trek fans will remember his role as Lon Suder, a murdering psychopath that eventually redeems himself, from a three-episode arc on Star Trek: Voyager. Born in Los Angeles, California, Crenna got his acting start on radio, appearing in Boy Scout Jamboree, Date With Judy and Our Miss Brooks. On television he appeared in the Babylon 5 episode Passing Through Gethsemane, in the early X-Files episode "Beyond the Sea", and in Oliver Stone's Wild Palms. Richard Donald Crenna (November 30, 1927 - January 18, 2003) was an American actor. Bradford Claude Dourif (born March 18, 1950 in Huntington, West Virginia) is an American actor. All of the Child's Play movies as the voice of Chucky.
