In 2004 Fiennes was cast to play evil Lord Voldemort in the fourth movie of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, due to be released on November 2005. In the meantime, he is still acting and is a recurring contributor to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In 1995 he started dating Francesca Annis, his co-star in Hamlet. Tom Green's autobiography, titled Hollywood Causes Cancer (co-written with Allen Rucker), was released on October 12, 2004. He married actress Alex Kingston in 1993, but they divorced in 1997. Nevertheless, it was cancelled by MTV a few months after it premiered. Fiennes' career has gone from horror (Red Dragon) to animated Biblical epic (Prince of Egypt) to campy nostalgia (The Avengers) to romantic comedy (Maid in Manhattan). Marking a change from his earlier work, he was compared in print to a young Johnny Carson or David Letterman.

In 1994 he portrayed New England aristocrat Charles Van Doren in Quiz Show, and in 1996 he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor for The English Patient. In 2003, Green returned with a nightly talk show on MTV called, appropriately, "The New Tom Green Show". But it was in the following year that he became known internationally, portraying Amon Goeth, the amoral Nazi concentration camp commander in Schindler's List, for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Their Hollywood house also burned down. Fiennes' film debut was in 1992, when he played Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights opposite Juliette Binoche. They were divorced on October 15, 2002. In 2001 Fiennes received the William Shakespeare Award from the Shakespeare Theatre in Washington. Green married actress Drew Barrymore on July 7, 2001, but filed for divorce on December 17, 2001, citing irreconcilable differences.

He is the only actor ever to have won a Tony Award for playing Hamlet on Broadway. After he was diagnosed with testicular cancer he made a one-hour special of his ordeal, including graphic footage of his own surgery. He also starred in and directed a one-hour special called The Tom Green Subway Monkey Hour, where he tormented strangers in Japan. Having trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1988. MTV cancelled his TV show in 2000, but he continued to appear on the channel via reruns and other promotional materials. Born in Suffolk, he is the older brother of actor Joseph Fiennes. Tom's increasing fame made it harder for him to surprise people on the streets, leading him to target mostly seniors and non-English speakers. Ralph Nathaniel Fiennes (born December 22, 1962) is a British actor. He quickly called for the video to be retired because "It's not fair to 98 Degrees."
