Pilar Montenegro

Pilar is one of Mexico's biggest pop music stars. She has recently been seen in the film, Captain Corelli's Mandolin and is currently working in theatre in Portugal. Montenegro was one of several Telemundo superstars featured at the 2004 Telemundo fan fest at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, alongside Maria Celeste Arraras, Ana Maria Polo, Mauricio Zeilic, Mara Croatto, Mauricio Salas and many others. She began her early career in Greece achieving widespread fame in that country before staring internationally renowned films such as The Guns of Navarone, Zorba the Greek and critically acclaimed films such as Z and Elektra. Pilar Montenegro was signed by Telemundo in 2004 to sing the title song in the production El Alma Herida. Irene Papas was born as Irene Lelekou in Corinth, Greece. However, she is undaunted by this, as she understands to her public , she is a member of their family, as she comes into their lives every day through the tv screen. Irene Papas (born September 3, 1929) is a Greek-born actress who has starred in over 70 films with a career spanning over 50 years.

Pilar loves the opportunity to sign autographs, take photos and interact with the public, but unfortunately, papparatzi's keep getting into her private life and squeezing out personal information about her. She soon followed up her Garibaldi days with soap opera and musical success, participating in telenovelas (Spanish for soap opera) like Volver A Empezar and a few others, and releasing musical hit after hit.
