Its destruction gained Zadora intense criticism. He currently leads the military force attached to the Atlantis Expedition as Major John Sheppard on Stargate Atlantis. The former home of silent screen stars Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford, the mansion was one of Hollywood's most famous privately owned properties. Flanigan is married to painter Katherine Flanigan. Zadora gained notoriety when she and her husband bought and demolished the Hollywood landmark mansion Pickfair in 1988. On the advice of some of his friends he studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting as a career. Her cover version of the Shirley Ellis hit, "The Clapping Song", reached the US Top 40 in 1983, and she had a minor hit with a duet with Jermaine Jackson titled "When The Rain Begins To Fall" in 1984. After graduation he pursued a writing career, working briefly for several New York City magazines.

In 1982 she received a nomination for a Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance. He later attended the University of Colorado where he apppeared in Coriolanus and studied in Paris. She has attained some success as a singer, and has had several hit singles throughout the world. At the age of 14 he attended a boarding school in Ojai, California where he appeared in the school's production of A Streetcar Named Desire. Her film career has been a series of lows, with no hit films, and with further Golden Raspberries to her credit, including the "Worst New Star of the Decade" award in the 1989 Golden Raspberry Awards. Joe Flanigan grew up on a small ranch near Reno, Nevada in the United States. She won a Golden Globe Award as 1982's "Most Promising New Star", but also won "Worst New Star" in the 1982 Golden Raspberry Awards. Joe Flanigan is a prolific television actor who has long-running guest roles on numerous television series, including Profiler, First Monday, Sisters and The Force.
