She graduated from Spelman College in 2001. DeBoer's most noted role is that of Ezri Dax on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (seventh season, 1999), though she has also featured in the Kids in the Hall movie, Brain Candy (1996), and the critically-received science fiction film, Cube (1997). Even before that — at age 3 — she played Keshia on Sesame Street. She is married to John Kastner. She is most recognized and remembered for her role as adorable Rudy Huxtable on the NBC sitcom, The Cosby Show.
