Michael Shanks

This is the second child for Shanks, his first, Tatiana, with model Vaitiare Bandera, was born in 1998. She also appeared in Grown Ups, Office Gossip and Green Wing. On 2 August 2003, Shanks married fellow actor Lexa Doig, and on 13 September 2004, they welcomed a daughter, Mia Tabitha. Her most famous role was as Helen Brittas in the BBC TV Series The Brittas Empire. He recently starred in the German Science Fiction Movie Sumuru as the astronaut Adam Wade. Shanks played Daniel Jackson throughout the first five seasons of the series before leaving the show. He also played in the tv movie A Family Divided and Call of the Wild before accepting his role in Stargate SG-1. He made guest appearances on tv series like The Highlander, University Hospital, and The Outer Limits. in Fine Arts in 1994 Shanks played in several stage productions.
