Their last album was 1994's Striving for Lazy Perfection. Aside from the singles and a few EPs, the Orchids (like most bands of their ilk) did not release albums until Unholy Soul (1991) and Epicurean (1992). These included "I've Got a Habit" and "What Will We Next", followed by the underground hits "An Ill Wind That Blows" and "Something for the Longing". Formed near Glasgow in 1986, the Orchirds released a series of underground singles on Sarah Records (see 1986 in music).
