Melanie Griffith

In her book A Paper Life, the Oscar-winning actress Tatum O'Neal alleges that at age 12, Melanie Griffith dragged her into an opium-fuelled orgy in Paris, along with another actress and the boyfriend of one of the actresses. She died in and was interred in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Griffith has three children; Dakota Johnson, Alexander Bauer, and Stella Banderas. She also briefly appeared as herself in the 1950 film Sunset Boulevard. The couple divorced again in 1996 and Griffith married her current husband Antonio Banderas that same year. She also had several acting roles during the latter part of her career, and made a cameo appearance in the 1950s television show I Love Lucy. She remarried Johnson in 1989. She remained active as a writer until her death, producing six daily columns and a Sunday column for the Chicago Tribune syndicate, as well as writing for celebrity magazines like Photoplay.

She was married to Steven Bauer from 1980 to 1987. In 1937 she started a career as a gossip columnist, and in 1939 The Hedda Hopper Show debuted with Hopper as host, running until 1951. She was briefly married to Don Johnson in 1976. She made her screen debut in 1916 with Battle of Hearts and appeared in supporting roles in dozens of films through the early 1930s, usually portraying society women. Griffith has married four times. She was active on the stage before her marriage in 1913 to matinee idol DeWolf Hopper, whom she divorced in 1921. DeMented (2000). Hedda Hopper was born Elda Furry in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania.

Griffith began working in films at an early age as an extra on Smith! (1969) and The Harrad Experiment (1973). She is the daughter of actress Tippi Hedren and Peter Griffith.
