Max Bygraves (born 16 October 1922 in Rotherhithe as Walter William Bygraves) is a singer songwriter. He also appeared on his own television shows, sometimes performing comedy sketches between songs. Shows he presented included Family Fortunes.

He had originally been offered the lead role of Del Trotter in the series, but turned it down due to other commitments. Max Bygraves (born 16 October 1922 in Rotherhithe as Walter William Bygraves) is a singer songwriter. The character appeared in three episodes over an eight-year period. White Christmas (1989).
