Mark Dacascos

Started from January 2005, Mark Dacascos is the Chairman Food Network's Iron Chef America. His late father, Dominic Evelyn Bede Elwes, an artist, descended from a staunchly Roman Catholic recusant family, and his mother, Tessa Kennedy, is of Anglo-Irish and Serbo-Croatian extraction. His mother is Moriko McVey, the sister of Takeshi Kaga (鹿賀丈史) (Chairman Kaga of Iron Chef fame), and is of Irish and Japanese ancestry. Elwes attended Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers, New York, where he studied acting. His father, Al Dacascos, is a martial arts instructor of Filipino, Spanish, and Chinese ancestry.
