In 2004 she served as a modeling judge in the short-lived reality television series Manhunt: The Search for America's Most Gorgeous Male Model. In March 2005, the couple's spokesperson announced their separation. She's also appeared in other magazines such as Fitness, Shape, and Vogue, as well as worked on campaigns for Nordstrom, J.Crew, and Tommy Hilfiger. She and American filmmaker Alexander Payne were in a relationship for five years, including two years of marriage.

Atypically, she was able to move from a start as a nude magazine model to high profile mainstream work with the likes of no less than Victoria’s Secret and the coveted Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue (2001, 2003, 2004, and 2005). Although Oh remains active in feature film, the critically acclaimed Grey's Anatomy remains Oh's primary, current occupation. Oh eventually studied drama at the National Theatre School in Montreal, whereafter she starred in a London, Ontario stage production of David Mamet's "Oleanna".
