In 1999, she moved to the Fox Network, where she participated in such shows as Fox Overtime, Fox Extra Innings and the Toughman competition shows. In Military hospitals, Code Black is the medical emergency term for mass casualties, as from an epidemic or other public health threat. Meanwhile, she doubled as a sportscaster on Los Angeles' KCBS station. Alternatively, Code Yellow is the term used for a bomb threat in many California hospitals. Later, in the 1990s, she moved on to star in Aaron Spelling's Sunset Beach. For example, this term may refer to a bomb threat or a bomb being discovered in a workplace. Guerrero began her show-business career in the 1980s as a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Rams. Color codes denote different events at different workplaces and are not universal.

Although she mostly uses Guerrero, her late mother's maiden name, she also is sometimes credited as Lisa Coles, her father's surname. jargon for various kinds of emergency situations.
