. In July, 2004, Miller was cut from the summer roster of the Denver Nuggets basketball team. He has also been featured on 3LW's "Neva Get Enuf" and Destiny's Child's "Soldier". In 2003, Master P was cast in the Nickelodeon series Romeo!, with Lil' Romeo. Lil' Wayne's latest CD features the hit single "Go DJ". As well as rapping, Master P played a supporting role in Hollywood Homicide as the owner of a nightclub, and has appeared in several other films. Although he shows no skill as far as traditional rapping goes, often literally having no words that rhyme nor a discernable rhyme sceme, he continues to sell records. Master P has since gone on to have his own flavor of rapsnacks potato chips: platinum barbecue.

Lil Wayne, however, performed gangsta rap in the strictest sense since an early age. Miller, the father of Lil' Romeo, is also the brother of his labelmates C-Murder and Silkk Tha Shocker. Even more noteworthy, most young rappers of teenage years perform bubble gum rap until at least their 20's. This 2-disk album was released under the New No Limit Records banner, distributed by Koch Records. Lil Wayne is also noted as being the youngest of the Hot Boys, 16 at the time of their debut. In April 2004, Master P released a 2-disk album Good Side Bad Side, which in a sense marked a return to the gangsta rap genre of the early days of No Limit Records. In 2004 he has released his latest solo album titled " The Carter". He returned to music with 1999's Only God Can Judge Me, followed by Ghetto Postage and Game Face.

His second album was 2000's Lights Out, followed by 500 Degreez in 2002. Miller then financed two films, I'm Bout It and I Got the Hook Up before trying to return to basketball. The title track was a huge hit. Master P's own solo albums include 99 Ways to Die, Ice Cream Man, Ghetto Dope and Da Last Don. His debut solo album was, Tha Block Is Hot was released in 1999. No Limit launched a string of hits, popular among mainstream audiences in spite of critical cries of a watered-down sound. Lil Wayne was one of the Hot Boys, an American rap group associated with Cash Money Records. Master P's debut album was The Ghetto Is Trying to Kill Me; it was followed by a compilation of No Limit artists called West Coast Bad Boyz.

Using his grandfather's inheritance, Master P formed No Limit as a record store, then turned it into a label. However, he soon dropped out of college and moved to Richmond, taking business class at Merritt Junior College. He comes from New Orleans and attended the University of Houston on a basketball scholarship. Master P (born Percy Miller on April 29, 1970) is a rapper, known for his work as the head of No Limit and the rappers signed to it.
