Leslie Parrish

Leslie Parrish (born March 18, 1935) is an American actress who starred under her birth name, Marjorie Helen, until she changed it in 1959.

Her two most notable roles are as Daisy Mae in Li'l Abner (1959) and as Jocie Jordan in The Manchurian Candidate (1962).

She has numerous television appearances, including her role in the Star Trek episode "Who Mourns for Adonis?" where Parrish played Lieutenant Carolyn Palamas, who becomes the lust object of the god Apollo.

Parrish married Richard Bach, author of Jonathan Livingston Seagull, in 1981; they have since divorced.
