Leo G. Carroll

Among the many films he appeared in were six Alfred Hitchcock films, including North By Northwest, Strangers on a Train and Spellbound. He was born in Petersburg, Virginia and died in Palm Springs, California from complications of throat cancer at the age of 88. He also appeared in the 1950s television series Topper and the 1960s series The Man from U.N.C.L.E and its spin-off, The Girl from U.N.C.L.E. He made his cinematic debut in Citizen Kane, at the invitation of his longtime friend, Orson Welles. Carroll (October 25, 1892- October 16, 1972), was a British character actor in many films from the 1930s to the 1960s. Joseph Cotten (May 15, 1905 - February 6, 1994) was an American actor, noted for his key roles in such classics as Citizen Kane, The Magnificent Ambersons, The Third Man, and Shadow of a Doubt. Leo G.
