Lana Clarkson

Phil Spector was formally charged with her murder on September 27, 2004. In 2004, she was cast as attorney Hannah Rose for the final season of The Practice and its subsequent spin-off, Boston Legal. Clarkson was found shot dead in 2003 in Phil Spector's mansion in Alhambra, California. Her most successful film to date (2003) was The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992). She also appeared in numerous B movies as well as a range of television and commercial performances. Her film debut came with a small part in Francis Ford Coppola's One from the Heart (1982), which was followed by the very successful Risky Business (1983) with Tom Cruise. Her most notable appearance was in the Roger Corman film Barbarian Queen (1985). She studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York.

She was born in Long Beach, California. De Mornay grew up in France and went to college in the United Kingdom. Lana Clarkson, (April 5, 1962 - February 3, 2003) was an American actress.
