Her last acting performances were in Mexican soap operas. With the decline of her film career, Lavi began a successful schlager singing career in Germany, with hits such as "Oh, wann kommst du?" and "Willst du mit mir geh'n?". She subsequently appeared in many Hollywood movies including The Bullfighter and the Lady, High Noon, Arrowhead, Broken Lance, The Racers, Trial, Trapeze, The Badlanders, One Eyed Jacks, Barabbas, Stay Away Joe (opposite Elvis Presley), Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, The Children of Sanchez and Under the Volcano. However, her most famous role is probably as 'The Detainer/007' in Casino Royale (1967) opposite Woody Allen. Her role in the Mexican movie Nosotros Los Pobres opposite well-known Mexican actor Pedro Infante brought her fame. Lavi's film appearances include Mario Bava's gothic classic La Frusta e il corpo (1963), and the first Matt Helm movie The Silencers (1966). Born Maria Cristina Estela Marcela Jurado Garcia in Guadalajara, Mexico, she started her career in Hollywood and moved back to continue filming in Mexico. Returning to Israel, her career took off properly in 1960, when she started appearing in a large number of European and American productions. Conversant in several langauges, she has been in German, French, Italian, Spanish and English-language films.

Katy Jurado (January 16, 1924 - July 5, 2002) was a Mexican actress. Born in Shavei Zion, she studied ballet in Stockholm, where she appeared in her first film: Hemsöborna (1955). Daliah Lavi (born Daliah Lewinbuk on October 12, 1942) is an Israeli actress and model.
