June Lockhart

(Anne Lockhart married the son of actor Buck Taylor, in his turn the son of actor Dub Taylor). She is also more famous for being the wife of James Van Der Beek whom she married on 5 July 2003. One, Junie Lockhart, also billed as Lizbeth Lockhart, had only a brief acting career, and the other, Anne Lockhart appeared in several television programs, most prominently Battlestar Galactica. In 1998 she joined the cast of Party of Five as Maggie. June Lockhart married John Lindsay in 1959, and they had two daughters. She was the first actress to portray the character of Jubilee on screen in the 1996 TV film Generation X. June Lockhart won a 1948 Tony Award for outstanding performance by a newcomer for her role in For Love or Money. Born in Barnegat, New Jersey, USA she started acting early at two years old in a Publishers Clearing House commercial.

She was the daughter (and only child) of two actors: Gene Lockhart, who came to fame on Broadway in 1933 in Ah, Wilderness!, and his wife Kathleen, née Arthur, who appeared with her husband in many of his stage plays and several movies, including A Christmas Carol, in which June Lockhart, as a young child, also appeared.
