Journey is an American rock and roll band formed in 1973.

The band has gone through several phases, including one dominated by former members of Santana. The band's greatest commercial success came with a series of power ballads such as "Open Arms", "Separate Ways", and "Faithfully".

Many credit the group's success with Steve Perry's vocals and Neal Schon's guitar work.

On January 21, 2005 Journey received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In 1993, Levy tried to breaking in the United States with Barrington, but Levy and his label, MCA Records, did not have a good relationship and he soon left. The late 1980s saw Levy, now in his twenties, slow down his output, though he continued to perform and record until 1988.
