John Stewart

You might be looking for comedian Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central's news-spoof show "The Daily Show", or for fictional DC Comics character John Stewart (see Green Lantern#Other Green Lanterns).. Other albums include Everybody's Angel (1991), Eleven Kinds of Loneliness (1992), Lovers in the City (1995) and The Cappuccino Songs (1998). He penned the song "Daydream Believer", which became a #1 pop hit for The Monkees in 1967, and later scored his own performing success with "Gold", a #5 pop hit in 1979. A later album, The Sweet Keeper, saw Tikaram begin to appeal to a specialising audience. He sang with The Kingston Trio from 1961 to 1967, when he left to pursue a solo career. She enjoyed success in 1988 with her album Ancient Heart, which included hits such as the enigmatic Twist in my Sobriety. John Stewart is an American singer/songwriter. Tikaram was born in Münster, Germany and later moved with her family to Basingstoke, England.

Of Malaysian ancestry, she became successful in her teens but has since faded into obscurity. Her style is based on acoustic guitar and on short songs. Tanita Tikaram (born August 12, 1969) is a pop/folk singer/songwriter.
