John Saxon (actor)

Saxon has also appeared in many Italian films, mainly in the "Spaghetti Western" and police thriller genres. Jerry Stiller appears in the intro and outro in the Rush 30th Anniversary Tour. He appeared mostly in supporting roles, but was top-billed in his most famous film Enter the Dragon (1973), which actually starred Bruce Lee. Stiller and Ann Meara are the parents of the actor Ben Stiller (with whom Jerry Stiller co-starred in the movie Zoolander) and the actress Amy Stiller. In his early career, Saxon worked with many notable directors including Vincente Minnelli, Blake Edwards, John Huston, Frank Borzage, and Otto Preminger, but despite this, never developed into a major star. Stiller currently plays the character of Arthur Spooner in another sitcom, The King of Queens. He studied acting with famous acting coach Stella Adler and broke into films in the mid-50s, playing teenage roles. In the 1990's his career had a resurgence as he had a recurring role in the situation comedy series Seinfeld, as Frank Costanza, from 1993 to 1998.

He was born Carmine Orrico the son of Antonio and Anna Orrico, in Brooklyn, New York. Stiller continued to perform and write through the decades, often in television guest roles as well as occasional dramatic appearances on television and stage. John Saxon (born August 5, 1935) is an Italian-American actor. In real life, Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara are also noted for their enduring marriage of over 40 years. After some years honing the act, Stiller & Meara became regulars on the Ed Sullivan show and other TV programs. His partner, Anne Meara, was also his wife, and the pair brought many of their real-life relationship foibles to bear on their often-improvised comedy routines.

After some time spent as a stock actor, Stiller first became nationally known as half of the comedy duo Stiller and Meara. He was born in New York, New York, into a Jewish family. Jerry Stiller (born June 8, 1927) is an American comedian and actor.
