She is married to TV director John Pasquin and has adopted two children. In December, 2004, Browder was announced as joining the cast of another sci-fi series, Stargate SG-1, for its 9th season. In 1994, JoBeth directed On Hope (1994) which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Short Film, Live Action. His most recent appearance was in the 2004 movie, A Killer Within, co-starring C. Thomas Howell and Sean Young. She has starred in a number of TV movies and small films and has had supporting roles in larger budget films. They returned to the United States in 2002 following the cancellation of Farscape. JoBeth is most recognized with her role in Poltergeist (1982) and she reprised her character in the sequel, Poltergeist II: The Other Side (1986). Buller played several guest roles on the show.

The couple moved with their two children to Australia during the production of Farscape (1999-2002), on which Browder starred as brash American astronaut John Crichton. In 1979, JoBeth had her film acting debut in Kramer vs. Ben Browder, born December 11, 1962, is an American film and television actor, who garnered a few minor roles in feature films before his leading role on the sci-fi TV series Farscape. After graduating from college, she joined the Trinity Repertory Company in Providence and was involved in local theatre. JoBeth was born in Houston and attended Brown University.
