Jennifer Grey (born March 26, 1960) is an American actress. She starred in the 1987 hit movie Dirty Dancing. She is the daughter of well-known stage and screen actor Joel Grey and the granddaughter of comedian/musician Mickey Katz.

She is the daughter of well-known stage and screen actor Joel Grey and the granddaughter of comedian/musician Mickey Katz. Accompanying the film is music from a recording called "Holiday in Brazil." In 2001 the United States Library of Congress deemed the film "culturally significant" and selected it for preservation in the National Film Registry. She starred in the 1987 hit movie Dirty Dancing. When Cornell screened the film, he projected it through a piece of blue glass and slowed the speed of projection to that of a silent film. Jennifer Grey (born March 26, 1960) is an American actress.
