Jane Leeves

Appearing less frequently in cinema, Leeves lent her voice to the animated film James and the Giant Peach (1996) and acted in the film Music of the Heart (1999). In addition the principal in the movie and in the video is played by the same actor. By the end of the series' run, Daphne had bewitched and married the character Niles Crane, while Leeves had received an Emmy Award nomination for her role, and had become the highest paid British actress in Hollywood. Their video for the ABBA cover "Dancing Queen" bears an unmistakable likeness plotwise to the 1985 John Hughes film "The Breakfast Club". Leeves played the eccentric, new age and forthright Daphne Moon, and she became a popular actress in this role. In late 2004, Dhani Lennevald released his first single as a solo artist titled "Girl Talk". In 1993, she joined the cast of the television series Frasier. Like many before them, the A-Teens have not achieved success like ABBA has, but then again, what ABBA had was something rare and very hard to recreate.

Leeves also appeared in two episodes of Seinfeld - The Virgin and The Contest. In this album, they have a couple new songs, including a cover of Nick Kamen's single "I Promised Myself". She had a recurring role in the television series Murphy Brown which provided her first period of success, playing the loud and awkward girlfriend of producer Miles Silverberg, Audrey. Finally, their lastest album Greatest Hits was released in Europe in 2004, leaving their American fans waiting for the lastest installment in A-Teens albums. She became somewhat visible as the flighty roommate on the syndicated sitcom Throb!. The group went on tour with Play and LYNT that year. She was a regular on The Benny Hill Show and appeared in a David Lee Roth music video for the song "California Girls", but struggled for several years to establish herself. After they released their second album, Teen Spirit, a year later, they toured in the US with American pop star Aaron Carter. Their penultimate album in the US, Pop 'til you drop, also known in Europe and Asia as New Arrival, was released in 2002.

Born in Ilford, England, Leeves trained as a ballet dancer and worked as a model, until she made her first film appearance in Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. In 1999, they released their first album ABBA Generation consisting of ABBA covers. Jane Leeves (born April 18, 1961) is an actress. Therefore, not wanting to cause a confrontation with their musical predecessor and icon, they shortened their name to A-Teens. They were first called the ABBA Teens, but a member of ABBA said that he would sue if they did not change their name. The A-Teens are a pop group from Stockholm, Sweden, formed in 1998.
